I was at Cherry Capitol Con this past weekend and had a fun time. Sales were not strong, but the event was fun and it’s fun being around a lot of my friends all weekend long.

Here’s a few pieces I made at the show itself.

Batgirl
Batman Sketch Card
Colossus Sketch Card
Deadpool Sketch Card
Magneto Sketch Card
Wonder Woman Sketch Card

These were made because I was getting hungry

Superman Sketch Card

I will be at Mid-Ohio Con in November on the 6th & 7th! I hope to have new work available and will make announcements as those works become available.
Enjoy!

More Mid-Ohio Madness

More pics of me at Mid-Ohio Con!

I drew this picture while not having anything to do and hoping it would grab some attention.

What a great time I had at Mid-Ohio Con! For my first year there, I had a fabulous time! I sold some copies of my 24-Hour Comic, A Child’s Wish, and did a few sketches, a couple of commissions and had a great time hanging with my pals.

I traveled down with Robert Forest , Ryan Claytor, Jon D. Gordon and Jay Jacott. We drove down to Columbus at 3:30 in the morning and got there about 8 and assaulted the show with our L.A.D.D.ie powers!

I sold a few comics, did a couple of sketchbook sketches and three commissions. It was a great show and I have more funds to help get me to Reading, PA for the CGS SuperShow.

I ran into a few friends at this show who’ll also be at SuperShow: Adam Withers & Comfort Love, who create the wonderful Uniques comic and have been so amazing with their friendship and support to this still-struggling artist. I also ran into Shawn Pryor of PKD Media as well as our mutual friend, Chad Cicconi.

I had the great fortune to be able to speak with my webcomics hero, Brad Guigar. I love his work and found the man himself to be incredibly welcoming and friendly. I look forward to running into him more often.

On Sunday, once that 5 o’clock chime rang out, we packed up our gear and made our way home with some silly fun and harrowing exploits from illegal u-turns, poorly described detours and just our own general decompressing together after a long weekend.

I’m now focused on SuperShow in March, but this con ranks up there with Pittsburgh Comic Con as a fantastic time. I will most definitely be back next year!

Speaking of SuperShow, again, I’m still accepting Commissions for the show as well as just in general. Prices are below:

9×12 Headshot B&W Inked: $15, Color: $20; 1-3 Characters B&W: $20, Color: $30
11×14 1-3 Characters B&W Inked: $30, Color: $40
11×17 1-3 Characters B&W Inked: $40, Color: $50

All commissions not to be directly picked up at a show requires $5 shipping. Send all money through PayPal to dean_stahl@cablespeed.com, as well as a written request to the same address.

No day but today!

Fun in Traverse City

I spent this weekend at the Cherry Capital Comic Con. I went with my artist pals, Ryan Claytor and Jay Jacot. We had fun, we sold comics, we rocked the hizzy till it was dizzy. Thanks to the convention staff for being fantastic and for running a great con! I’m definitely in for next year!
